Poetry of a Naturalist Presenting the solo show of Rishi Kapil a self taught ,passionate , naturalist painter who paints his ideas in a realist style.Born and lives in Mumbai .Has shown at several shows in India, and Europe. His paintings are already adorning museums. His work is presently shown at Kannakuku Museum Thiruvananthapuram, Portakal Cicegi Museum Ankara, Beylikduzu and Trabzon , Istanbul, Turkey His works are a strong portrayal of figures and interiors where he creates a visual dimension. The visual dimension is immersive and gives strong sense of perspective. Another strong factor is light. The paintings create a great atmosphere and mood. The light is natural and evolves a sense of virtuality.His palette is subtle and choice of colours are mellow. The subjects are a strong representation of people and the world around us.In a true sense the viewer belongs to the paintings.
